中原地產為因應政府的壓抑樓市政策，住宅成交量大幅下滑，與高雄開發商首度合作，引入境外樓盤在港銷售，以提升前綫員工生存空間。首個項目是台灣高雄都廳苑，入場費645萬港元(新台幣2428萬元)起。
中原除香港和內地市場，近月投資4,000萬元進軍台灣及新加坡代理市場；台灣第一家分行計劃於本月中開始營業。中原地產台北總經理周永輝表示，該分行位於台北中正區，除他本人和副總經理，分行其餘16名員工主要為台灣人。
周永輝說，集團計畫3個月內增設台灣分行4至5家，暫時沒有考慮收購當地的代理行。
中原地產住宅部董事總經理陳永傑指出，該行獲得台灣高雄豪宅都廳苑的香港獨家代理權，本周末來港推售20伙，面積2,668至4,765平方呎，入場費約654萬港元，呎價約2,421元；買家如採取一次性付款可獲95折優惠，按揭服務則由滙豐銀行提供◎

After living in the US for two decades, I recently returned to my hometown, Taipei. I got a LITTLE culture shock in Taiwan. Additionally, as for me, Taipei has been changing so much that it is hard to be recognized without using a city map.
